| Ho Chi Minh City among cheapest Asian cities |

 Ho Chi Minh City is the third cheapest city in Asia for expatriates, a survey by human resources organization ECA International has found. |

| The southern city is only behind Dhaka and Manila, while at the other end of the table were Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe, Seoul, Macao and Hong Kong, according to the annual cost-of-living survey, which was released last month. ECA’s survey covered 250 locations worldwide and measured the cost of living for expatriates by using a basket of 125 goods and services, including groceries, alcohol and tobacco, clothing, electrical goods, cars and restaurants.
Tokyo is second globally, only behind Oslo, and is more expensive than London, Paris, and New York.
