Itinerary:

Night 1 : Hanoi -Lao Cai- train            (Friday night)
We will catch the overnight train  soft sleeper with A.C to Lao Cai. The train leaves at 21.15 from Hanoi railway station.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Can Cau, (Satuday)  [B/L/D]
Arrival Lao Cai station around 6am. After having breakfast, you will travel by car to Can Cau, the ride is relatively flat from Lao Cai to Bao Nhai, where you will be taken through rural area. Situated in the mountains in border area, 20 km from Bac Ha, Can Cau is a small, but very colorful market. Opening only on Saturdays, it always delivers a very photogenic display of Flower Hmong, Black Zao, Phu La ethnic costumes. Chinese people also come for trading. After spending the whole morning exploring the market, you will leave the market for Bac Ha town, where you will have lunch in a local restaurant.  After lunch, you drive downhill for about half an hour. You will then start a short walk to Trung Do village.  Overnight in Bac Ha.

Day 2: Bac Ha – Sapa, (Sunday)  [ B/L/D]
Breakfast at hotel, Bac Ha is the largest market in the area, situated inside the small town of Bac Ha . On every Sunday mornings, it is literally a riot of color as many different ethnic groups such as Flower Hmong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay , Nung minorities... gather to buy and sell. After spending the whole morning exploring the market, your lunch will be served in a local restaurant.  Then transfer to Sapa.  The rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 3: Sapa trekking – Lao Cai – Hanoi (Monday) [ B/L/-]
Our jeep will take you to visit Black H'mong Villages at Lao Chai San and  Lao Chai (15km from Sapa). Take trekking touring around village. Follow footpath to Giay Village in Ta Van. Trek back to main road and the car take you back to Sapa.  Leave Sapa for Lao Cai station for a night train back to Hanoi .

Arrive Hanoi at 5am next morning.  End of trip.
